Approximately 26.5 million people in Nigeria are at risk of acute hunger, largely driven by conflict, inflation, and climate factors like droughts and floods.
This projection indicates an ongoing and worsening Food crisis in the country. For people living in extreme poverty, having two or three meals daily is a rare comfort, almost a luxury.

On World Hunger Day 2024, we reimagined luxury from the perspective of those who lack access to life's essentials. By transforming iconic luxury and logos into representations of popular Nigerian dishes, we aimed to highlight how even basic food can become a luxury for those who struggle to meet their most basic needs.
