Pizza Hut is hijacking the long lunch queues of other restaurants in Hong Kong with its new portable pop-up store to give hungry lunch-goers a timely reminder that they don’t need to waste their time waiting for a delicious lunch.
In Hong Kong you only get 1 hour for lunch. One sacred hour. But during lunch hour, 30-40 min is the average waiting time to buy food. The pop up shop from Pizza Hut travels from location to location of Hong Kong’s busiest lunch spots, unboxes on their doorsteps offering quick, tasty meals to frustrated people stuck in queues with the playful message “What are you waiting for?” - giving people more of their lunch hour back.
